Perse Sport
The Perse Upper School has a strong sporting tradition and a commitment to 'Sport for All' and 'Sporting Excellence'.
The school's main sports are Cricket, Hockey, Netball, Rugby and Tennis. From the First to Third year, pupils are split into ability groups, where they are coached by specialists and encouraged to progress through the groups. By the Fourth year options are introduced and given to those pupils who wish not to participate in the main sport for the term. Once the pupils enter the Fifth and Sixth Form they are offered a games option and have the freedom to choose from the option list.
All sports are treated equally and help to enhance rather than detract from our main sports.
The Sports Department supports all physical activities that students participate in outside of school. In the past, this has included eventing, gymnastics, orienteering, skeet shooting and swimming.

The Perse has a strong record of success in Cricket, Hockey, Netball and Rugby. Very competitive fixture lists, quality coaching and a professional ethos enhance our reputation.
